Tom Sinas is named chairperson of BIAMI board of directors  

On May 25, personal injury attorney and Sinas Dramis Law Firm partner Tom Sinas was sworn in as chairperson for the Brain Injury Association of Michigan's (BIAMI) Board of Directors.

Only the second attorney to hold the position of Chairperson, Sinas first joined the board in 2015 and has previously held the positions of vice-chairperson and secretary. 

He manages the firm’s downtown Grand Rapids office and is dedicated to serving his home community of West Michigan.

BIAMI's self-stated mission is "to improve the lives of those affected by brain injury and reduce the incidence and impact of brain injury through advocacy, awareness, education, prevention, research, and support." 

 

Post elected to World Affairs Council of Western Michigan board of directors

Attorney Eric Post, a partner in Varnum’s Grand Rapids office, was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the World Affairs Council of Western Michigan, to serve a three-year term beginning July 1.

A business and corporate attorney, Post works with startups, private and family-owned businesses and multinational companies in various industries. He works with clients through the lifespan of their businesses, from formation or acquisition to sale or other exit.

A cum laude graduate of Hope College with a double major in economics and political science, Post earned his JD, cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law Chicago.

Post has been named to Grand Rapids Magazine’s Top Lawyers, Corporate Law, since 2020; and was a member of the West Coast Chamber of Commerce: West Coast Leadership, Class of 2018.

He is a member of the American Bar Association: Business Law Section; Real Property Section;  Grand Rapids Bar Association;  and State Bar of Michigan: Business Law Section; Real Property Law Section; International Law Section  

Post’s community involvement also includes serving on the board and Executive Committee for the local summer camp, Camp Blodgett and as a volunteer for Junior Achievement of the Michigan Great Lakes.
