Keith Center for Civil Rights continued its ongoing program examining the war on terrorism and respect for individual liberties on Thursday, Sept. 20, at Wayne Law’s Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium. Guest speaker Jules Lobel (right), president of the Center for Constitutional Rights and professor at the Pittsburgh School of Law, discussed “Victory Without Success: Has the Guantanamo Litigation Led to Permanent Wartime Preventive Detention?” Welcoming Lobel to the lecture was Wayne Law Prof. Peter Hammer (left), director of the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights.
