The D. Augustus Straker Bar Association hosted its annual Corporate Counsel Breakfast on Thursday, April 25, at the Skyline Club in Southfield. This year’s theme was “Alternative Pathways for Attorneys” and featured keynote speaker Dennis Archer Jr. (center) of Archer Corporate Services. Happy to welcome Archer to the event were (left to right) Straker Board member Michael Hall, Straker Board member and Breakfast co-chair Mylika Johnson, Straker President Tiffany Buckley-Norwood, Straker Treasurer Carlton Watson, Straker Board member and Breakfast co-chair Jason Webber, Straker Secretary Ieisha Humphrey, Straker President-Elect Kimberley Ann Ward, and Keshava Kirkland, a University of Detroit Mercy School of Law third-year law student and the recipient of the Harry J. Pearce Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship which was presented during the Corporate Counsel Breakfast.
