Cavanagh discusses ‘Promoting Wellness in the Legal Community’

Jewish Family Service’s Legal Referral Service will present “Making the Case for Promoting Wellness in the Legal Community” on Wednesday, September 13, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Knollwood Country Club, 5050 W. Maple Rd. in West Bloomfield.

Lawyers assume incredible responsibilities to ensure the best outcome for their clients. These demands affect them, whether they recognize it or not.

At the program, Michigan Supreme Court Justice Megan K. Cavanagh and Molly Ranns, director of the State Bar of Michigan’s Lawyers and Judges Assistance Program, will discuss the work of the Task Force on Well-Being in the Law, the importance of the wellness movement in the legal profession, ways to effectively manage lawyer-client relationships and practical tools to thrive personally and professionally.

This is a free event thanks to a generous grant from the Oakland County Bar Foundation. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is required. To register, visit jlive.app/events/5074.

Anyone with questions may contact Emily Croitori at 248-592-2317 or ecroi tori@jfsdetroit.org.
