MAJ Winter Meeting to feature 5 tracks Jan. 25-26

The Michigan Association for Justice will conduct its 2024 Winter Meeting on Thursday and Friday, January 25-26, at the Four Points by Sheraton in Novi, 27000 S. Karevich Dr. in Novi.
This year’s Winter Convention will offer five tracks over two days:

—Thursday, January 25

• Nuts and Bolts of No-Fault Practice Paralegal/Law Clerk Seminar, with co-moderators Chad Engelhardt and Michelle Kreger

• Michigan Civil Justice Seminar-Case Law Updates & Trial Practice Considerations (this program is only available to members of the judiciary and their staff), with co-moderators MAJ
President Jennifer McManus and MAJ Past Presidents Deb Freid and Bobby Raitt

—Friday, January 26

• Medical Malpractice Seminar Plaintiff Members Only, with co-moderators Past Presidents Jesse Reiter and Judy Susskind

• Premises Liability Seminar Plaintiff Members Only, with moderator Todd Stearn

• Workers’ Compensation/Social Security Seminar, with co-moderators Andrea Hamm and Sean Shearer

Event rates are $355 for MAJ members, $255 for MAJ members practicing four years or less, $155 for MAJ sustaining members, $155 for MAJ paralegal/law clerk members, free for judges or judicial staff, and $555 for non-MAJ members (Workers’ Comp only).  The registration fee is for only one track.
