Society hosts dinner at Greenfield Village

The Incorporated Society of Irish American Lawyers (ISIAL) hosted its Annual Scholarship and Awards Dinner on Thursday, May 7, at the Eagle Tavern in Greenfield Village. The evening featured drinks, dinner, dancing, and an awards presentation. There were also horse drawn carriage rides around Greenfield Village during the cocktail hour. On hand to welcome guests for the evening were (photo #1) ISIAL Vice President Mary Anne Noonan, ISIAL director Cynthia Cassell, Calvin Wood, Dennis Clark, ISIAL Treasurer Jennifer Cupples, Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Michael Riordan, ISIAL Past President Meghan Kennedy Riordan, ISIAL President Gary Bresnehan, ISIAL Secretary Lori Fitzpatrick-Timar, and ISIAL President Elect Joseph McGill. During the event, the Charles R. Rutherford Jr. Award was presented to Livonia attorney Patricia J. Sullivan (photo #2) and the Thomas “Tiger” Thornton Award went to George E. Ward (right) of Law and Mediation Offices of George E. Ward in Canton.
