The Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the State Bar of Michigan conducted a Mediator Forum on Thursday, Dec. 15, at the Detroit offices of Varnum LLP. The forum offered ADR Section members a chance to meet, connect, and exchange ideas. Presenting during the forum were (l-r) Ann Arbor attorney Sheldon Stark, Earlene Baggett-Hayes of The Law & Mediation Center PLLC in Pontiac, and Dick Hooker of Varnum LLP. “The State Bar ADR Section is committed to the advancement of non-adjudicative resolution, so we deal with mediation, arbitration facilitation—all manner of dispute resolution vehicles,” Hooker said. “Today we are focusing on early mediation of employment disputes.”
