The Detroit Legal Services Clinic provides information and advice from volunteer attorneys in the areas of divorce, child support, domestic relations issues, expungements, self-representation, and general civil law. The clinic is from 12-3 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 at the Penobscot Building, 13th Floor, Smart Detroit Conference Rooms, 645 Griswold in Detroit. Volunteers may arrive at 11:30 a.m. for lunch. The 32nd Annual Barristers’ Summer Breeze and Law Clerk Party will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 at the Detroit Shipping Co., 474 Peterboro St. in Detroit. Summer Breeze  provides a fitting backdrop to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of some of the best and brightest young attorneys who have demonstrated great potential. The cost to attend is $35 for Detroit Bar members and $40 for non-members. Detroit Bar law student members and members of the judiciary may attend at no cost. The State Bar of Michigan Business Law Section will host a seminar, “Restructuring Healthcare Entities in the Current Environment,” from 2-5 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 at the offices of Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, PC, 27777 Franklin Rd., Ste 2500 in Southfield. A cocktail reception will follow. The seminar will be moderated by Judith Greenstone Miller, Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C. Presenters include Daniel S. Opperman, U.S. Bankruptcy judge, Eastern District of Michigan, chief judge, Sixth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel; Travis Comstock, Assistant Attorney General, Michigan, Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan; Samuel R.
