Neckers selected as Bet the Company Litigation Lawyer of the Year for Grand Rapids
Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession, has named Bruce W. Neckers of Rhoades McKee as the “Grand Rapids Best Lawyers Bet-the-Company Litigator of the Year” for 2011.
Best Lawyers designates “Lawyers of the Year” in high-profile legal specialties in large legal communities. Only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community is honored as the “Lawyer of the Year.”
Neckers specializes in business, commercial and other significant litigation in state and federal court. As a certified mediator, he has served with hundreds of parties to settle disputes involving virtually every kind of legal case.
He has been recognized by his peers as a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyer and The International Society of Barristers; he was the 67th President of the State Bar of Michigan.
Best Lawyers compiles its lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting exhaustive peer-review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers. The current, 17th edition of The Best Lawyers in America (2011) is based on more than 3.1 million detailed evaluations of lawyers by other lawyers.
Among other “lawyer of the year” designations for Grand Rapids, Rhoades McKee’s Connie Thacker was chosen in the area of Family Law.
