ALA West Michigan elects board members
The Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) West Michigan chapter has elected the following board members: President: Jill Quillen, Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge; President-Elect: Steve Edison, Law Weathers; Treasurer: Andrea Myers, Miller Johnson; Secretary: Janice Murray, Mika Meyers Beckett & Jones PLC
The mission of the organization is to promote and enhance the competence and professionalism of all members of the legal management team; improve the quality of management in law firms and other legal service organizations; and to represent professional legal management and managers to the legal community and to the community at large.
ALA is a worldwide organization with over 9,000 members in the United States. The West Michigan chapter is one of three local chapters in the state.
