Honigman ranked among the top 10 workplaces in state

For the second consecutive year, Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP ranked among the top 10 Michigan employers in the Detroit Free Press 2012 Large Top Workplace category. Honigman is the only law firm ranked among the 25 companies in the large workplace category, which includes companies with 500 or more employees. The law firm, with approximately 575 employees, successfully competed in this category alongside companies with thousands of employees. Other companies among the top ten include many of Michigan’s most prominent and innovative companies, such as Quicken Loans/Quizzle, Plante Moran and Edward James.
“We are extremely pleased to receive this honor again this year,” said Robert D. Kubic, Honigman’s Chief Operating Officer. “We diligently work to create a workplace environment that encourages the achievement of personal and professional success. We know that when our people are happy, they will provide our clients with exceptional results and service, which is the number one goal for our law firm. We are pleased to be on this list of top workplaces along with some of our local and national clients, as well as other well-regarded organizations.”
More than 160,000 employees were surveyed in this process. Rankings were determined solely by employee survey responses, including comments on key workplace factors such as working conditions, career opportunities and managers.
Honigman also earned the designation as one of the “National Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” by the National Association of Business Resources in 2011 and 2012.
