James L. Scott receives Client Choice award recognizing excellence in client service

James L. Scott, a partner at the law firm of Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, has been chosen by Client Choice as winner of the Intellectual Property – Trademarks category in Michigan.
 
Scott was recognized for his excellence in client service by Client Choice, which gathered reviews and conducted independent research from general counsels to compile the ranking.  He will be highlighted in a directory of leading law firms distributed to more than 50,000 general counsel.

Scott concentrates his practice on technology and intellectual property, with a focus on trademark, copyright and domain name acquisition and enforcement.  He represents clients in numerous industries, including the Internet, consumer goods, automotive supply, furniture, health care, food, insurance, financial services and others, as well as nonprofits.

Scott is a member of the International Trademark Association, the International Technology Law Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, Automation Alley and aimWest.  He also serves on the board of Pregnancy Resource Center.
