Giordano and Kramer elected to lead Smith Haughey Women's Business Initiative

Grand Rapids, Mich., June 1, 2015— Smith Haughey is pleased to announce that attorneys Stacy M. Kramer and Michele M. Giordano have been elected as the new co-chairs of the firm’s Women’s Business Initiative (WBI). Comprised of the women attorneys, officers and directors in all four of Smith Haughey’s offices, the purpose of the WBI is the recruitment, retention and advancement of women lawyers; the enhancement of law firm diversity; and the creation of business building, networking and marketing opportunities for women professionals.

Giordano is a family law, estate planning, and litigation attorney who primarily helps her clients with a variety of issues including divorce, post-divorce, custody, adoption, and the drafting of wills, trusts, guardianships and powers of attorney. Additionally, Giordano is a trained mediator and collaborative divorce attorney and is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Michigan.

Kramer is a medical malpractice defense attorney who represents healthcare professionals across the state of Michigan and is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Michigan and Illinois.
