The award recognizes contributions to mental health causes by a public official and highlights Mack’s strong advocacy for improved mental health services in Michigan. State Supreme Court Chief Justice Stephen Markman praised Mack for working “tirelessly on behalf . . . of those afflicted with mental illness, and we commend his longtime commitment to the cause.”
