State Court Administrator Milton Mack, former chief judge of the Wayne County Probate Court, was honored with the Snyder-Kok Award by the Mental Health Association in Michigan at its 2017 Tribute Dinner on September 14 in Livonia.
In the photo at left by John Meiu, Mack (center) is pictured with Mark Reinstein (left), director of the Mental Health Association in Michigan, and Judge David Murkowski, Chief Judge of the Kent County Probate Court who is the current president of the Michigan Probate Judges Association. The award recognizes contributions to mental health causes by a public official and highlights Mack’s strong advocacy for improved mental health services in Michigan. State Supreme Court Chief Justice Stephen Markman praised Mack for working “tirelessly on behalf . . . of those afflicted with mental illness, and we commend his longtime commitment to the cause.”
