Warner recognized for pro bono work

Warner Norcross + Judd LLP has again been recognized by the State Bar of Michigan for pro bono contributions.

The law firm and 24 attorneys were recognized in the second annual “A Lawyer Helps Pro Bono Honor Roll.”

Warner attorneys provide direct client representation, serve on boards for legal aid programs, engage in community legal education programs and advise nonprofit and low-income public interest groups. In addition, the firm makes an annual financial contribution to the Access to Justice Fund.

 

Wardrop attorneys earn special kudos
 

Attorneys Robert F. Wardrop II (Robb) Wardrop and Thomas (Mac) Wardrop, from Wardrop & Wardrop P.C. were included in this year's Michigan Super Lawyers List.

Robb Wardrop  has practiced law since his admission to the Bar in Michigan in 1980. He earned his JD in 1980 from University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, and founded Wardrop & Wardrop, P.C. in 1990. He serves as president and counsels clients in bankruptcy matters. Robb also serves on the Board of Trustees for Central Michigan University.

Mac Wardrop has practiced in Michigan's state and federal courts since 1985. He began his legal career at a 45-plus member Grand Rapids firm, primarily practicing civil litigation; and served as prosecuting attorney for several Grand Rapids area municipalities. A Detroit Mercy Law School alum, Mac has expanded his litigation practice; and is  a neutral arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association and a trained facilitative mediator.

He is on the case evaluation panels for Kent, Barry and Ottawa counties.

He serves on the City of Grand Rapids Local Officers Compensation Commission. From 2007 until 2017, he was a member of the Michigan Civil Service Commission.
