55th District Court closed to public Dec. 12

 The 55th Judicial District Court will be closed to the public on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, for the purpose of an in-service training.  The court will process emergency matters and other special circumstances that may arise during the closure to the public.  The court will reopen for business on Monday, Dec. 15, 2014.  

The request to close the court was approved by the Michigan Supreme Court through Local Administrative Order 14-11, issued by the Honorable Thomas P. Boyd, Chief Judge of the 55th District Court.
