Annual ICBF golf classic set for June 25

The Ingham County Bar Foundation 11th annual Memorial Golf Classic is set Thursday, June 25, at Hawk Hollow, 15101 Chandler Road, Bath Township, MI 48808.

Registration and lunch will be from 10 to 11 a.m., and the shotgun start gets under way at 11 a.m. The program/awards reception will be at 4 p.m.

The cost is $125 per person; or $135 after May 25. Young lawyers (up to age 35 or five years or less in practice) are $100 per person, or $125 after May 25. A foursome team will cost $500 per team.

The cost is $30 for those who do not want to golf but would like to attend the program and awards at 4 p.m Payment must be received on or before Thursday, June 25. For a refund, cancellations must be received in writing at leas 72 hours in advance, less a $25 administrative fee.

A share of the proceeds will benefit the Friends of Ingham County Veterans Treatment Court that provides veterans suffering from substance abuse issues, alcoholism, mental health issues, and emotional disabilities with treatment, academic and vocational training, job skills, and placements services; and provides further ancillary services such as housing, transportation, medical, dental, and other supportive services.

The Honorary co-chairs of the event are Judge Frank J. DeLuca, Chief Judge of the 54-A District Court from 2006 through 2013, and Judge Louise Alderson who presides over the specialized Sobriety Court for the 54A District Court.
