"Tomfoolery" - attorneys perform in fun show

A recent production of "Tomfoolery," based on the musical machinations of 1960s political and cultural satirist Tom Lehrer, had a distinctly legal flavor. The show was presented by the Ann Arbor performance troupe The Penny Seats Theatre Company and was staged at Conor O'Neills in Ann Arbor. The director was Lauren London, assistant general counsel at Eastern Michigan University, and among the performers were Roy Sexton, senior vice president of Corporate Affairs for Trott & Trott; Matt Cameron, an attorney with Morganroth & Morganroth in Birmingham; and Laura Sagolla, assistant U.S. attorney in Detroit. The show ran four times in October selling out every time. A fifth and final show was added November 7, also selling out well before the performance. London is president of The Penny Seats, while Cameron is chairman of the Board of Directors. Sagolla is a board member.
