PHOTO #1: Two attorneys were sworn in to practice in the state of Michigan in a July 16 ceremony held by Jackson County Circuit Court Judge John McBain.
(Left) Attorney Lei Jiang, sponsored by Jackson attorney Andrew P. Kirkpatrick, is sworn in. The owner of Lei Jiang LLC in Cleveland, Ohio, Jiang focuses her practice in business and related litigations. She is a cum laude graduate of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and a candidate for an LLM in Taxation at the same college.

PHOTO #3: Benjamin Whiting is sworn in while his sponsor, attorney Kathryn R. Swedlow, a professor at WMU Cooley Law School, looks on. A graduate of WMU Cooley Law School, Whiting was a student attorney with the Washtenaw County Public Defender Office, and an intern with the City of Jackson. He also serves on the Judicial Board of his alma mater, Albion College.
