Bonneau Child Advocacy Fund accepting grant applications for up to $1,000

The Officer James D. Bonneau Child Advocacy Fund, a component fund of the Jackson Community Foundation, is accepting grant applications for requests up to $1,000.

City of Jackson Police Officer James Bonneau, killed in the line of duty on March 9, 2010, had great concern and empathy for neglected and abused children.

To honor his service and sacrifice, the Officer James D. Bonneau Child Advocacy Fund was established to help children in Jackson County. This includes not only physical needs of children but also emotional and/or psychological needs.

The grant  application requires one letter of support and all materials must be submitted by 5 PM on Monday, September 23, 2019.
