Examining the new law school standards


The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law recently conducted its annual Law Review symposium at the school’s downtown Detroit campus. The symposium featured legal professionals and scholars from across the country to discuss the American Bar Association’s implementation of Standards 314 and 315 which deal with formative assessments in law school classrooms.

Among those taking part in the discussion were (left to right) Southern Illinois University School of Law Professor Sue Liemer; Ruth Colker, Distinguished University Professor &?Heck-Faust Memorial Chair, The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law; David Siegel, professor of law and director of the Center for Law and Social Responsibility, New England Law; and Dr. Andre W. Noble, tutor in Law Coventry University College.
