Disrupting bias focus of FBA program

The Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, recently presented “Become a Bias Disruptor” at the Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse in Detroit. Speaking at the program were the authors of “Enhancing Justice: Reducing Bias,” U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Bernice Donald (front row, center), Sixth Circuit, and University of New Hampshire School of Law Professor Sarah Redfield (front row, right).  Also taking part in the program were (front row, left) U.S. District Court Chief Judge Denise Page Hood, along with (back row, left to right) Matt Monahan, FBA Diversity Committee Co-chair Eric Lee, FBA President Saura Sahu, State Bar of Michigan Director of Diversity Greg Conyers, and FBA Diversity Committee Co-chair Dawn Ison.
