NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held by the Norton Shores City Council on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room, Norton Shores Branch Library, 705 Seminole Road, for the purpose of receiving public comment on:

A proposed grant application to the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund to replace the pavilion at Ross Park with a 100’ x 70’ deck.

All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and/or submit written comments to the Parks and Recreation Department, Norton Shores City Hall, 4814 Henry Street, Norton Shores MI 49441. Questions may be addressed to Parks and Recreation Director Mike Huston at (231) 799-6805.

REQUEST FOR BIDS

The City of Norton Shores is accepting sealed bids for the following:

      1. 32% Liquid Calcium Chloride
      2. 38% Liquid Calcium Chloride (dust control)
      3. Bituminous Asphalt Materials
      4. Aggregate Materials

Bids are to be submitted on the Specification/Price sheets provided by the City and all blanks are to be completed. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope, clearly identifying the bid title. Bids will be accepted until 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2020.

CITY OF ROOSEVELT PARK DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

SEASONAL PART-TIME WORKER

The City of Roosevelt Park is looking for one (1) Seasonal part-time Employee (no benefits) in the Public Works Department. This is a semi-skilled position that will work throughout the summer as needed, with the possibility of work continuing into the Fall. Must have a valid Michigan driver's license.  Duties include but are not limited to: perform park maintenance with the use of related power equipment, lawn mowers, weed whips, leaf blowers, raking, sweeping, cleaning, painting a nd many other activities that require manual labor.

CITY OF ROOSEVELT PARK
REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS
2020 MILLING AND RESURFACING

The City of Roosevelt Park, Michigan hereby invites contractors interested in providing services for milling 6,215 liner feet at 2" and resurfacing. Contractors interested in bidding this RFP are required to attend a preconstruction meeting on March 26th beginning at 9:30 am. The purpose of the preconstruction walk thru is to make sure all desired locations and job limits are understood before submittal.

Responding agencies are required to submit one (1) copy of their proposal, which must have original signatures. The proposal, whether mailed or hand delivered, must arrive at the City Hall no later than 2:00 p.m. local time, on April 1, 2020. A public bid opening will be held at 2:00 on April 1, 2020 in the Council Chambers of City Hall. Pleas mark sealed envelope as "CITY OF ROOSEVELT PARK MILLING AND RESURACING".
