HealthWest will hold virtual mental health groups

HealthWest, formerly called Muskegon Community Mental Health, is a behavioral wellness agency with a broad range of integrated health services designed to meet the needs of adults and youth with serious behavioral health challenges, developmental disabilities and co-occurring substance use disorders.

Recognizing the ill effects that isolation can have, HealthWest is now offering a number of online sessions every day to help connect, educate, and engage the community, utilizing Zoom technology. People do not have to be receiving services to participate in these meetings.

Use the link https://healthwest.zoom.us/j/769623699 to join or visit HealthWest’s website, at https://healthwest.net/community-resources/virtual-groups/ and click on the link there. The one exception is Smart Recovery, which is at the Zoom link https://smartrecovery.zoom.us/j/261524945

People are also invited to join the HealthWest Facebook page and watch one of the April virtual groups.

Those having questions should email Community.Relations@healthwest.net

Please note that there is no expectation of privacy; the groups are public and, as noted above, may be viewed on Facebook.
