Pro bono attorneys needed for Michigan Driver's License Restoration Clinics on August 10

Hosted by the Secretary of State and Attorney General’s Office, DTE and others, there will be “Road to Restoration” Clinics offered August 10 in Muskegon, with a virtual option to volunteer.

Volunteer pro bono attorneys are needed to provide limited scope consultations at the clinic, which would include the review of driving records, contacting the courts, and helping guide individuals through the steps they need to take to restore their licenses.

You do not need a background in driver’s license restoration. Recorded training modules and in-person training the day of the clinic will be provided. Experts from the Michigan Department of State and Attorney General’s Office will be available to answer questions as well.

It is very rewarding work.  A few hours of your time can make all the difference in someone’s life
