Fellowships benefit from auction

The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law hosted its 8th Annual Public Interest Fellowship Auction on Saturday, April 17, at the Detroit Yacht Club on Belle Isle in Detroit. Among those enjoying the evening were (left to right) Professor David Koelsch, auction chair; Assistant Director JD/LLB Program Amy Smith; Associate Professor Julia Belian; and UDM School of Law Dean Lloyd Semple.

"This is an auction to raise money for public interest fellowships for law students to work at non-profits throughout the Detroit area," noted Koelsch.
