'Financial Planning and Loans for Young Lawyers' seminar offered by State Bar section

By popular demand, the " Financial Planning and Loans for Young Lawyers" seminar is back to focus on the financial and loan needs of the young lawyer. Presenting the program is the State Bar of Michigan's Young Lawyers Section. The presentation for finances is headed by Kevin Buchanan of Harvest Partners Financial, an enthusiastic communicator who wants only the best for you where you are right now and grow you to where you would like to be. Everything that young lawyers need to know for their finances will be expertly discussed. Similarly, the presentation for loans is put on by Comerica Bank. It discusses how to best position oneself to qualify for a loan (home, auto, business) and whether it's a good idea to be pursuing a loan under one's personal circumstances. Young Lawyers Section executive council member Jennifer M. Harvey of Harvey Legal Group PLLC will emcee and briefly discuss estate planning as a part of your financial picture. As is traditional for this seminar, this is strictly intended to help attendees, not be a commercial for any company or product. The seminar will be conducted on Thursday, Oct. 25, at Cooley Law School's Ann Arbor Campus, 3475 Plymouth Road. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. followed with presentations at 5:50. Heavy appetizers and soft drinks will be served. There is no cost for Young Lawyers Section members or their significant others who attend with YLS members. Although walk-ins are welcome, registration to Jennifer M. Harvey at jharvey@harveylegalgroup.com is requested. Published: Fri, Oct 19, 2012
