Status of compensation for indigent counsel discussed

 The Polish American Legal Society (PALS) conducted a general meeting on Wednesday, May 8, at PLAV Post 16 in Dearborn Heights.

Eaman, a criminal defense attorney who has been representing clients in criminal cases since 1971, spoke about the status of compensation for indigent counsel in Michigan.  

Eaman is also a law professor at Cooley Law School and an instructor at the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan Trial College, teaching law students and lawyers the skills needed to be a competent trial attorney.
