On Wednesday, May 29, 19 underprivileged students from 13 colleges and universities in five states and the country of Lebanon arrived at Cooley Law School’s Auburn Hills campus to participate in the nationally recognized College Pre-Law Summer Institute (CPSI).

CPSI is being conducted at Cooley for the fourth year in partnership with Oakland University and the American Bar Association’s Council of Legal Education Opportunity (CLEO).

The CPSI offers students an opportunity to study the critical thinking skills necessary to succeed on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and in law school.

Students will receive 100 hours of free instruction from Cooley professors along with instruction on how to succeed on the LSAT provided by Test Prep Services.

They will also take part in group panel discussions led by practicing lawyers and judges from throughout metropolitan Detroit.
