The Friends of Macomb County Veterans Treatment Court (FMCVTC) was the beneficiary of Cooley Law School’s annual spring charity fund-raising event, which featured dinner, music, live comedy, and a silent auction on Sunday, June 2, at Cooley’s Auburn Hills campus.

“Cooley Law School has long supported our veterans through various programs such as the Cooley Veteran Corp and our Service to Soldiers: Legal Assistance Program,” said Cooley Asst. Dean Lisa Halushka.

“The Macomb County Veterans Treatment Court allows individuals, who have served our country, an opportunity to get help. Many times their actions are a result of circumstances directly related to their service to our country and this is yet another way Cooley can offer support to our veterans.”

The event raised $5,145 in contributions and pledges, all of which will be donated to FMCVTC.
