Computing Source hosts Pink Box Campaign to raise funds for breast cancer research

Southfield-based Computing Source, an all-in-one digital evidence and legal support firm, announced it is hosting its Pink Box Campaign for the second year in a row this October to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. Computing Source CEO and Managing Director Mark St. Peter made the announcement.

Computing Source delivers hundreds of blue and white boxes filled with documents to law firms, corporate counsel and court systems each month. As a charitable twist in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the firm will turn its boxes pink and white, and donate a percentage of the month’s revenue tobreast cancer research and advocacy. Computing Source Senior Account Executive Chad Heilig came up with the idea last October.

“Breast cancer research, support and advocacy is a cause very close to all of our hearts at Computing Source,” said Heilig. “Turning our recognizable and highly visible boxes pink for the month is a fun, eye-catching way for us to raise awareness.”

The Pink Box Campaign is one part of the company’s year-round Giving Back One Month at a Time campaign, in which the firm contributes a portion of each month’s revenue to selected nonprofits and charitable causes important to various team members. Past beneficiaries have included Toys for Tots, the Humane Society, Boy Scouts of America, the American Cancer Society, Therapeutic Riding, Inc., and more.

“So far, we have been able to support breast cancer research, give nearly a thousandchildren an exciting holiday, help some amazing animals find forever homes, and much more through our fundraising program,” said St. Peter. “We are thrilled with the success of the campaign, and look forward to continuing to expand it in new ways in the future.”
