On Friday, Sept. 19, the Oakland County Circuit Court hosted a Constitution Day program for more than 300 students from various schools in Oakland and Wayne Counties to commemorate the historical day the U.S. Constitution was signed on Sept. 17, 1787.

As co-founder of Patriot Week with his daughter Leah, Judge Michael Warren was pleased to take part in the Constitution Day event which echoes the goal of Patriot Week (Sept. 11-17): to reinvigorate the appreciation and understanding of the First Principles—the rule of law, unalienable rights, equality, the Social Compact, limited government, and revolution—upon which the nation’s freedoms rest.
