He is a litigation attorney with a focus in the areas of commercial litigation (including shareholder disputes, trade secrets and non-compete cases) and copyright, entertainment, and intellectual property. In addition, Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that James J. Stapleton has joined the firm in the newly created role of chief business development and marketing officer. He will be resident in the Detroit office. Stapleton will oversee the direction and implementation of business development growth strategies and tactics. His primary focus will be to improve demand generation, drive increased breadth of client relationships, and accelerate Dickinson Wright brand growth across key target markets. He is recognized as a marketing operations expert and teaches a master class in marketing and business development metrics for law firms. Paolini was recently named an "Up & Coming Lawyer" by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. Prior to joining Quinn Law Group, Scheuern gained experience in robotics, vehicle systems, power generation, nanotechnology, and compressed air and gas filtration. He worked for Parker Hannifin Corp. as a territory manager and applications engineer, and has also been a product engineer for Solectron Corp. Scheuern also served as an intelligence operations officer in the United States Air Force where he specialized in remote sensing. He earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Michigan Technological University, where he specialized in automatic control systems.
