PHOTO #1: Detroit native Stephen M. Ross (left), a billionaire developer and noted philanthropist, was the guest of honor during a special question-and-answer program April 9 at Wayne State University Law School, his legal alma mater. Ross, responding to a question from Wayne Law Dean Jocelyn Benson (right), was a member of the Class of 1965 at Wayne Law after earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, where the business school is named in his honor.

PHOTO #2: Michigan Governor Rick Snyder (photo, left) was among those who paid tribute to Ross at the April 9 event, saluting the founder of The Related Companies, a global real estate development firm, for his business and philanthropic accomplishments over the past 50 years.
