'Representing Parents in Baby Court' offers guide for parent attorneys

“Representing Parents in Baby Court—A Guide for Parent Attorneys” will be presented by the State Court Administrative Office-Child Welfare Services on Thursday, September 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago-Detroit Branch, 1600 East Warren Avenue in Detroit.

This training is intended for attorneys representing parents in child protective proceedings.  It will provide participants with an overview of the Wayne County Baby Court.  Participants will  learn information to assist attorneys in effectively representing parents in Baby Court cases.  In addition, information about parent-child interactions and attachment in infants and toddlers will be presented.
