Law students dig into service project

Wayne State University Law School students, as well as some faculty and staff, participated in a service project Leroy Ashley urban farmingThursday, Aug. 25, at the Michigan Urban Farming Initiative in Detroit.

The volunteer students included incoming first-year, master of laws, transfer and guest students, as well as some second- and third-year students.

The service project was part of the law school's Orientation Week events for new students, who pulled weeds, planted seeds and completed other projects. Service to the community is emphasized at Wayne Law.
