Waterford hosts 23rd Annual Business Recognition Breakfast

The Charter Township of Waterford and the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce hosted their 23rd Annual Business Recognition Breakfast on Friday, May 5. The event took place at Oakland Community College and recognized exemplary businesses and individuals whose efforts go above and beyond to serve the residents of Waterford Township and help make it a great community in which to live, work, and play. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with the Waterford community while enjoying a breakfast buffet.

The event was hosted by Gary Wall, Waterford Township supervisor; Alison Swanson, Waterford Parks and Recreation; and David Meyer, president of the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce. Awards were presented for Beautification, Community Service, Special Recognition, Business of the Year, Businessperson of the Year, and Milestone Anniversaries. Secrest Wardle Executive Partner Margaret Scott, of the firm's Troy location, was in attendance. Scott serves Waterford Township as local ordinance prosecutor at the 51st District Court.

Secrest Wardle is a law firm specializing in defense litigation and counsel for insurance, municipal, and commercial clients headquartered in Troy with additional offices in Grand Rapids and Lansing.
