'Planting City Roots'

The Oakland County Bar Association’s Real Estate Committee presented a seminar addressing the opportunities and challenges facing urban farmers. “Planting City Roots: Advising the Urban Agriculture Enterprise” took place Thursday, June 22, at the Oakland County Bar Association offices in Bloomfield Hills. Speaking at the event were (seated, left to right) Michael Score of Hantz Farms, Tyson Gersh of the Michigan Urban Farming Initiative, and Greg Gamalski of Giarmarco, Mullins, & Horton PC. Moderator David Michael (at podium, right), of Lipson, Neilson, Cole, Seltzer, & Garin PC, helped to lead the interactive discussion on the challenges faced by urban agriculture enterprises here in Michigan and how to be prepared to assist and advise those enterprises.
