Youth Law Conference conducted

The Law Related Education Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) presented the 24th Annual Youth Law Conference on Tuesday, Nov. 14, featuring keynote speaker Charlie Langton (center), legal analyst, Fox 2 News—WJBK. Happy to welcome Langton to the conference at the MSU Management Education Center in Troy were (left to right) Law Related Education Committee Chair Joan Vestrand, Western Michigan University Cooley Law School associate dean, Auburn Hills campus; OCBA President Gerald J. Gleeson II of Miller, Canfield, Paddock, & Stone PLC; Oakland County Bar Foundation President Patrick McCarthy of Howard & Howard Attorneys PC; and Mark Berke of Law Office of Mark B. Berke PLLC. The conference introduces high school students to the law and prepares them for the rights and responsibilities of adulthood under the law when they turn 18.
