Attendees will learn how to:

• Avoid legal pitfalls in the IEP meeting process that create serious legal liabilities.
• Create legally defensible IEPs that have clear and measurable goals.
• Confidently handle difficult 504 plan eligibility situations.
• Dissect 504 plans and spot critical legal liabilities.
• Determine when a manifestation determination is and is not required.
• Understand what services a school must provide special needs students during disciplinary removal.
