Law school hosts Homecoming Golf Outing

The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law will sponsor the 2018 Homecoming Golf Outing starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, at The Inn at St. John’s, 44045 Five Mile Rd. in Plymouth. Proceeds will benefit the School of Law’s Student Scholarship Fund.

Golf will be played in a scramble format with 4-player teams (individuals and couples welcome, to be paired with others). Registration includes 18 holes with cart, driving range, bag services, full locker room facilities, buffet dinner, souvenir gift, and two drink tickets for hospitality cart on course. Lunch is available for purchase at the Pro Shop or Halfway House.

In addition, participants will enjoy golf contests, a raffle and the awards ceremony following golf. Detroit Mercy Law and its Alumni Association will honor two distinguished alumnae during the dinner program. Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Michael J. Riordan (‘90) will receive the Time and Talent Award, and Rosa A. Weaver (‘13) will receive the Rising Star Award.

The price for students is $75 per person, $125 for non-students before Sept. 1, and $140 for non-students after September 1. Dinner only guests pay $40 each. Register at http://www.law.udmercy.edu/.
