MentorJet at law school

With generous donations from the Detroit Bar Association, the Wayne County Family Law Bar Association and individual attorneys and judges, Wayne State University Law School and the National Association of Women Judges District 7 were pleased to present MentorJet on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Wayne Law’s Partrich Auditorium in Detroit. Among those taking part in the event were (left to right) Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Mariam Bazzi, Kimberly Yourchock of Honigman LLP, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Karen Braxton, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Patricia Fresard, Wayne County Circuit Court Chief Judge Timothy Kenny, Executive Court Administrator Zenell Brown, Donn Fresard of the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, Diane Fears of Wayne Law, and Allison Travers. MentorJet is a “speed mentoring” opportunity created by the National Association of Women Judges in 2010. It offers law students one-on-one access to a diverse group of lawyers and judges for short informal career-related discussions.
