Discovery rules discussed

The Juvenile Law Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association continued its Fundamentals of Juvenile Law brown bag lunch lecture series with “New Discovery Rules in Juvenile Cases” on Thursday, Feb. 20, at the OCBA offices in Bloomfield Hills. The new amendments and additions to the civil discovery rules include changes to the discovery process in juvenile and child protection cases. Guest speaker Cecilia Quirindongo (right) of K and Q Law provided a guide to those changes as well as practical advice for navigating them. Thanking Quirindongo for her insights was program moderator Melinda Deel (left) of Melinda N. Deel PLLC.
