OBITUARY: Judith Wolf Judge

Attorney Judith Wolf Judge, a life member of the Washtenaw County Bar Association, died June 5 at the age of 74.

A native of Westfield, N.J., Wolf earned her B.A. from Miami University in Ohio and her law degree from Harvard Law School. Her principal practice before retirement was family law.

She had a meaningful career as a lawyer while always making time to coach field hockey and lead Brownies.

The Ann Arbor resident was the inaugural president of Friends of Greenview, one face of her longstanding commitment to preserving nature areas. She loved gardening, welding, painting, travel, golf, and doting on her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; daughters Kathryn (Tim) and Margaret (Ben); four grandchildren; two siblings; and several nieces and nephews.

A service will not be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages reading a book to a child, creating something of beauty, or finding your own way to bring a little joy to this world.
