Training to look at interstate compact on the placement of kids

The Michigan Judicial Institute (MJI) is pleased to offer the webinar “Overview of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children for Courts and Attorneys in Child Protective Proceedings” on Thursday, December 16, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Office of Juvenile Justice will present an hour training which will provide a brief introduction to the office (including a summary of our services and contact information), an overview of the Interstate Compact, and a discussion of common questions and concerns that may arise.

This training was developed for court partners (including judges, referees, and attorneys) and will also provide opportunities for questions and feedback.
