New Circuit Court judge sworn in

Newly-appointed Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Maureen H. Kinsella (above, left) was sworn in during a private ceremony Friday, May 13, in courtroom 3A at the Oakland County Courthouse in Pontiac. Oakland County Circuit Court Chief Judge Jeffery Matis (right) swore in the new judge while Kinsella’s husband, Michael (center), held the Bible.  Kinsella’s parents, sons, colleagues, and friends were in attendance along with several friends and family on Zoom. Kinsella is assigned to the Family Division. Prior to her appointment to the bench, she was a lawyer with Miller & Tischler PC in Farmington Hills.
