What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Being able to take care of myself and my family.
What is your greatest fear?
Probably much like most attorneys, failure.
Necessary extravagance?
Satellite radio in my car. I couldn't imagine driving without it.
What is your most treasured possession?
The Fender guitar my parents gave me for my birthday when I turned 13. They also surprised me with guitar lessons that day which I took until I graduated high school. I still play it to this day.
When and where were you happiest?
Probably the night I celebrated passing the bar with my family.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Being able to get to bed early and fall asleep quickly. I have always been a night owl, and it's something I've struggled with my whole life.
Greatest achievement:
Graduating from law school.
What advice would you give law school students?
Just remember that it can only get better.
Favorite movie:
Slapshot. It's the best hockey movie and one of the best sports movies ever.
Favorite drink:
Green tea and coffee are my two favorite drinks.
Favorite place to spend money:
Amazon.com. I buy almost everything from there.
What is your motto?
"Talent is a great thing, but if you think talent wins, it doesn't. Work wins.'' - Mike Babcock
Where would you like to be when you're 90?
Although it's pretty cliché, retired someplace warm with my family after a (hopefully) successful career.
