My husband is a homebrewer, so we have a need for good beer. Our favorite microbrewery is Darkhorse Brewing Company in Marshall. What is your most treasured possession? Though not really possessions, I would say family and close friends. Life would be boring and empty without both. Aaron and I are lucky to both have large families and we have close friends we have literally grown into adults with. When and where were you happiest? In 2011, my husband and I traveled to Ireland with another couple to celebrate our mutual milestone anniversaries. Being on vacation, in a beautiful and welcoming country with my husband and close friends was perfect. Greatest achievement: My marriage, without question. I am lucky enough to have married my best friend. What advice would you give law school students? Before I started my first year, someone told me to work and study hard during the school week so I could take weekends off. I did, and believe it kept me level-headed and relatively stress-free. It was great advice. What would be your ideal job? I think I already have it. But I really enjoyed law school and might like to teach at a law school one day. What is something most people don't know about you? I grew up in Alaska. I was your typical Alaskan kid--on the ski slopes all winter, fishing and camping in the summer. Who is your favorite character of fiction? I hate to admit this, but, Harry Potter. J.K. Rowling has an imagination I can only dream of. The Harry Potter books were fantastic. Favorite drink: An ice cold Coke or a Crooked Tree IPA from Darkhorse Brewing Company. Where would you like to be when you're 90? Well, having been retired for 35 years by then, wishful thinking, I know...I hope to be enjoying a game of golf a few times a week and still traveling the world with my husband.
