Butzel Long recognized by Arbor Hospice Foundation
The Arbor Hospice Foundation recently recognized Butzel Long for donations made through Butzel Long's Charity Casual Day program.
On the fourth Friday of every month, employees have the option to dress casually and make a donation to a designated non-profit organization. Butzel Long attorneys and staff members offer suggestions for charities to designate each month. An email reminder is distributed to all personnel prior to the monthly Charity Casual Day, which provides information about that month's non-profit designee.
"We're very grateful to Butzel Long personnel for their generosity to help ensure high-quality hospice and grief support services continue to be available to those in our seven-county area in southeast Michigan," said Heidi Grix, Executive Director of The Arbor Hospice Foundation.
Butzel Long has a long history of public service and pro bono work.
"Butzel Long's Charity Casual Day provides an opportunity to learn more about the organizations and people who give of themselves on a daily basis," said Francyne B. Stacey, a shareholder in Butzel Long's Ann Arbor office and an Arbor Hospice Foundation board member. "I believe our contributions make a difference."
