Post-grant patent webinar set March 19

James Cleland, a shareholder in the Ann Arbor office of Brinks Gilson & Lione, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the U.S., will serve as a speaker during the Brinks 2015 Post-Grant Patent webinar on March 19. The webinar is the second in a series of webinars hosted by the firm on recent developments in post-grant proceedings.

Cleland will present "Multiple IPR Petitions: PTAB's increasing trend for using 35 U.S.C. § 325(d) to deny petitions for IPR" and will answer questions following the presentation. In addition to Cleland, Brinks attorneys Nicholas Restauri and Marc Richards from the Chicago office will present respectively on "Recent CAFC decisions: Treatment of the first IPRs on appeal" and "PTAB stats: Recent TPAB decisions."
